Congratulations to David Brinkman, CEO of the Desert AIDS Project, on receiving the HERO Award last weekend during the 2011 HIV Provider Network conference.
Mr. Brinkman is a dynamic and successful businessman but he is also, perhaps more importantly, a great person: compassionate, personable, eloquent, and witty. He is one of only a handful of people I’ve met who, just by being in his presence or hearing him speak, makes me want to do more for the greater good.
We at Desert Perks wish David and the Desert AIDS Project years of continued success with the hope that one day in the not-too-distant future, organizations like yours will have achieved the goal of removing HIV/AIDS from the world for good. If it’s possible, you will do it!
